ICT Policies, Procedures, Standards and Guidelines

Policies and Procedures

Curtin IT Services (CITS) have issued ICT Policies and Procedures to ensure that members of the University Community may use Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities and services in an appropriate, secure and risk-appropriate manner, and to ensure that other persons do not misuse those ICT facilities and services.

Relevant ICT Policies and Procedures include the:

  • ICT Policy Manual;
  • Information Security Classification Policies and Procedures; and the
  • Physical and Information Security Policy.

All ICT policies and procedures can be found on the Curtin's Find a Policy website.


CITS have issued ICT Standards as the subject matter expert to define how ICT assets are to be configured, used and managed. The following standards are applicable to Curtin Staff:
