Commonly used software
Curtin has entered into a number of agreements with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) vendors to obtain maintenance coverage for ICT equipment and to license software for use by the university community.
Software available
A limited number of software vendors permit Curtin staff (and in some cases, Curtin students) to install and use their software on workstations not owned by Curtin. Use of the software is subject to very specific limitations and must be authorised by the completion of the appropriate 'home use' licence agreement and agreement to abide by the conditions of use. Site Licensed Software "At a Glance" (xls - 33KB) is a quick reference guide to Curtin common use site licensed software arrangements (Note: This guide only includes the most commonly used software).
Please contact your CITS Service Desk to obtain the software agreement forms.
NOTE: To obtain forms for Curtin Microsoft Campus and School Agreement home use software please contact the Bookshop.
